Ensuring Your Right to Information
Welcome Right
to Information Act 2005 empowers the citizen of India to access the
information available with Government departments, Public Sector
Undertakings, Local Bodies, Voluntary Organisations substantially
benefited from Government, Statutory Bodies under law of the State.
When the required information is not provided by the concerned
Public Information Officer, the applicant can approach the Appellate
Authority of the department. When the applicant is not
satisfied with the decision taken by the Departmental Appellate
Authority, the applicant can file an appeal or complaint to the
State Information Commission.
